As a mortgage powerhouse who works hard for her clients and celebrates with them as well, Tammy Hajjar Miller provides home loans across the United States for primary, second, and investment properties – helping over 2,500 families thus far in her career since 2005. Tammy’s passion for the American Dream is really the continued mission of her mom – to build generational wealth through real estate. Immigrating from South Korea in 1976, it was the combination of a BIG vision and hard work that lead her mom to purchase a variety of properties since then: residential, mixed use AND commercial!! Graduating from DePaul University Business School with an Accounting/Finance degree, Tammy felt fortunate to find a career in mortgage lending as the perfect marriage of numbers and people. The success of Team Tammy can be attributed to their focus on financial education coupled with a 1st Class client experience: a clear process, timely communications and even some FUN! Tammy is a daughter, mother, wife, coach, businesswoman and friend, but it would all be in vain if it wasn’t for Bernie, her AWESOME husband, and their BEAUTIFUL blended family: Cheyenne, Isabel, Henry, Nicholas, Harrison AND goldendoodle, Bentley. Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.
Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.
Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.
This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.
After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
