Matthew Roehrig is a Mortgage Loan Originator at Neighborhood Loans. With a master’s degree in accountancy, Matthew brings a unique skill set to his role, helping clients not only secure a mortgage but also improve their overall financial health. Introduced to the mortgage industry by his father-in-law and friends, he saw an opportunity to combine his love for real estate and numbers. His goal is to assist as many people as possible in finding homes they love and can afford, all while helping them build wealth and achieve their long-term financial goals. Matthew takes pride in providing intentional, client-centered service, treating each client as more than just a transaction. Supported by a dedicated team, he ensures that every aspect of the mortgage process is smooth and efficient. His work ethic is driven by a desire to provide a great life for his family, and he finds fulfillment in seeing his clients win by securing the homes they desire. Throughout his career, Matthew has learned that every client and situation is different, and while he can't please everyone, he is committed to offering the best service possible in every situation.

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.

Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.

Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.

This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.

After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
