Archie Vetter epitomizes the mortgage lending industry’s very best. Bringing two decades of knowledge and experience to Neighborhood Loans, we are honored to have him on our team as a VP of mortgage lending. He specializes in jumbo, conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, and renovation loans across nineteen states. Joining the industry right out of Eastern Illinois University, Vetter was recruited as an account executive before transitioning into a loan officer position. “I actually went to school to become a teacher, but my brother-in-law was working for a lender as a processor and inspired me to join him,” he explains. “I ultimately learned the trade through complete immersion.” Citing his adaptability and accessibility as fundamental to achieving his best year yet, Vetter prides himself on maintaining open lines of communication and customizing each loan to best fit the client’s financial portfolio. “Without a question, my knowledge of this business and process-driven approach are what help me rise above the competition. The bottom line is – I always make myself available and respectful of my client’s scenario.”

Here's how we do things

Apply Online

Loan Submitted
to Processing
Clear to Close!

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.

Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.

Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.

This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.

After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
