Blair Anderson is a Branch Manager at Neighborhood Loans and has been in the field for nearly 10 years—helping many families to purchase their dream homes. Blair holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University and has worked in different fields within the financial services industry. Blair was invited by a close friend to join the mortgage and home-buying field, and over the years he has grown to love the mortgage industry. He is very passionate about his role at Neighborhood Loans. Blair is very client-focused and is always happy to see a smile on his client’s faces when they receive the keys to their new homes. He finds it very important to empathize with others and understand their situation, as there are a lot of emotions that come up during the home-buying process. Blair is mindful of this. He focuses on meeting the client where they are to create a sense of calm throughout the home buying-process. Blair’s goal in the field is to help others through coaching, and he is excited to educate the next generation of loan officers.

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.
Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.
Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.
This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.
After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
