Christian Radulescu brings a unique blend of engineering leadership, real estate experience, and relationship-driven service to his role as a Mortgage Loan Originator. After a successful 20-year career in mechanical engineering—most recently serving as a Director of Engineering overseeing more than 20 engineers and project managers—Christian transitioned into the mortgage industry to pursue a more client-focused, entrepreneurial path. Encouraged by his long-time friend and Neighborhood Loans Area Manager Ben Gheliuc, he was inspired to apply the communication, leadership, and business-development skills he built in engineering to helping clients achieve their homeownership and investment goals. His background managing complex, multimillion-dollar engineering projects shaped his commitment to urgency, transparency, and proactive communication—qualities he believes are essential to delivering an exceptional client experience. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest as the son of Romanian refugee parents, Christian grew up watching his family build a successful residential design and construction business from the ground up. Those early experiences gave him hands-on exposure to real estate, residential design, building codes, and project management, while instilling the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Today, he combines that lifelong connection to housing with his professional expertise to guide clients through the loan process with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, Christian enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their three daughters—Anjalina, Emily, and Alice—traveling, skiing, and golfing together as a family.

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.
Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.
Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.
This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.
After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
