Justin Santos is a Mortgage Loan Originator at Neighborhood Loans, based in the Old Irving Park office. Although new to the mortgage industry, his journey began after meeting Dwight Marroquin, who welcomed him onto his team. Coming from a family rooted in real estate, Justin was inspired to carve his own path in the industry. Previously, he excelled at Nordstrom, where he quickly became a top 10 salesperson in his store, generating over $1 million in sales volume. He was recognized as the "Voice of the Customer" for his dedication to exceptional service, a commitment he now brings to helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership. Justin is driven by a strong work ethic, aiming to make his family proud and become a trusted name in the mortgage field. Known for his discipline, persistence, and organizational skills, he ensures clients receive a seamless experience throughout their home-buying journey. For him, the most rewarding part of the job is witnessing families achieve what may have once seemed impossible. As he continues to grow in this industry, Justin is eager to face new challenges, always ready to provide support and guidance whenever needed.

to Processing

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.

Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.

Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.

This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.

After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
