Kylee—better known as Ky—is a Mortgage Consultant with Neighborhood Loans, bringing nearly six years of experience helping clients navigate home purchases and refinances with clarity and confidence. Her passion for mortgage lending is deeply personal: after being turned away by multiple lenders while trying to buy her first home, Ky knows firsthand how overwhelming and discouraging the process can feel. Everything changed when she finally worked with a lender who took the time to educate and empower her—and that experience now defines how she shows up for her clients. Ky believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to financing, and she’s committed to meeting people exactly where they are with honesty, clear communication, and guidance they can trust. With a background spanning the service industry and healthcare, Ky brings a strong foundation of listening, problem-solving, and genuine care into every client relationship. She finds the greatest fulfillment in helping buyers achieve homeownership when they weren’t sure it was possible—watching uncertainty turn into confidence is what drives her every day. Outside of work, Ky’s purpose is fueled by her husband Adam and their two daughters, along with family time outdoors, beach-trip planning, game nights, and cheering on Nebraska sports. At the end of the day, Ky is grateful to do work she loves and is dedicated to making the mortgage process clear, achievable, and empowering—one client, one family, and one home at a time.

Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.
Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.
Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.
This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.
After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
