Rebecca Larrea is a seasoned Mortgage Loan Advisor with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Since 2012, she’s been helping individuals and families navigate the path to homeownership with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Her journey into the mortgage world began when she opened a broker shop with her husband—what started as an unexpected step quickly became a fulfilling mission. Rebecca stayed in the business because it allowed her to serve others while promoting financial literacy and empowering clients through real estate. Rebecca is deeply committed to personal and professional growth. She’s an active member of the GO! Coaching community, where she was selected as one of just four student ambassadors among 700+ members. She’s also proud to be recognized in Creative Loafing’s annual Best of the Bay awards—named a top-three finalist in 2024 and making it to the voting round again in 2025. Her clients rely on her for her honesty, strong communication, structured systems, and refreshing mix of professionalism and humor. Rebecca’s ultimate goal is to make financial literacy more accessible and to help people build long-term wealth through education and homeownership. Our five-step mortgage process starts by applying online and getting pre-approved within 24 hours. This will require you to provide us some basic financial and personal information. We will take that information and get back to you with a pre-approval letter.

Getting pre-approved determines how much we are willing to lend, allowing you to shop for homes with confidence. Sellers will take your offer more seriously when you have a pre-approval from a lender. With this complete, you can now start your home search.

Finding the right home takes time, there are many things you need to look for and work out with the sellers. Once you find the home you would like to purchase, make and offer, and come to an agreement with the seller, we will submit your loan to our processing team.

This may seem far from simple for people, but Neighborhood Loans has you covered! The mortgage loan processor is the link between your loan officer and underwriter. We collect and verify all the documents necessary to prepare your loan. This is arguably the most important part of the loan process.

After you’re cleared-to-close, we will schedule your closing and fund the loan on the day that is most convenient for you. After the final documents are signed, you will be given the keys to your new home! We look forward to helping you through our home buying process.
